Alright, now you have this task. Write an essay about this and this and that. On the one hand, this topic is pretty clear, but on the other hand – what do you begin with actually?

Keep calm, this is no magic trick, that is expected from you. As someone said – correct planning is already half of the victory.

So, first of all, create a correct essay template!

Yes, you heard right. Make a written template. It will not only help you getting clarity in the structure of your essay, but will be a universal algorithm for any future essays, as this structure will hold for any kind of science or research paper.

So, go ahead, what do you start with? Yes, with the beginning. How do you make your beginning? You do not start off with the topic directly from the very first line on, do you? Of course you do not!

Thus, a little introduction would be pretty valuable. State and express in a few lines, what you are going to write about. Define the topic, the question, the answer, whatever you are writing about. Maybe, you should also put down some lines about why you chose this topic (even if this topic was not your personal first choice ;) ), why you think it is necessary to write a paper about it and what it is actually good for. And here comes the most important part – wrap it all up a bit smooth and readable. Because just a primitive brute-force writing down, that „my topic is that, and I will write about it, because it is important“ unfortunately will not do it.Go ahead and be creative, it can’t get worse than writing nothing either way!

Next step – divide the essay in a few logical parts, because it will be a stiff piece of work to go through a research paper, which is nothing but one big pile of text. Take a look, where you can draw the line between some issues in the topic, which obviously differ from each other, and separate them by different paragraphs. Making the essay readable physically will get you some points automatically.

Very most important part – write to the point, do not beat around the bush, just to get space filled. Nobody will grade an essay well, which is just basically saying nothing. Be aware of what the topic is about and understand it for yourself. Only if you know, what to say, what to conclude and how to put it on paper, you will succeed in creating an essay, which is worth reading.

And now, the very last part – always make sure, that you have a good ending. Do not make it abrupt, never end your essay with the analysis itself. Finish the text both logical and aesthetical, because otherwise it offends the eye of the reader very severly and leaves a bad impression. That you can’t write a sensible text, for instance.

Certainly, you should make sure, that you re-read, what came out. Maybe you will find some mistakes, which can be corrected, before handing the text in. Hopefully, you like what you read, because otherwise, you are consciously handing in crap, which makes you an academical suicide person. If something does not fit, do not fear to eventually rewrite the whole of it, so that it makes sense and can be read nicely.

Follow up this template and those advices everytime you are writing an essay, and the whole process will go smoothly and with no sweat!
